The Snowy in the Surf
The Snowy Egret is a common year-round resident of the Texas
gulf coast, Florida and even a summer resident of multiple land-locked U.S.
states. I see the Snowy most every trip
to Brazos Bend and other coastal marsh and wetland habitats. But for some reason I’m always surprised when
sighting it on the beaches and shorelines of the Gulf of Mexico or saltwater
bays.
